As an Animal User your official responsibilities are:

• Always treat animals humanely
  
  
• Conduct procedures as specified in the approved protocol
  
  
• Understand and follow the general requirements for animal care and use at NIH
  
  
• Voice any concerns related to the care and use of laboratory animals at whatever level of NIH authority that is appropriate

This course will provide the information you need to meet these responsibilities.
