ANIMALS STUDIES INVOLVING RADIOACTIVE MATERIALS (RAM) OR RADIATION PRODUCING EQUIPMENT (RPG)

Animal studies involving radioactive materials or radiation producing equipment require an approved Animal Study Proposal (ASP) reviewed by your institute's Animal Care and Use Committee (ACUC),as well as, the Division of Radiation Safety (DRS). Your ASP may also be subject to additional radiation safety protocol requirements. Please contact your Area Health Physicist for specific radiation safety guidance while developing your ASP.
